RE: Breaking Habits - Is 21 Days Enough?

in #food7 years ago

No one can blame you if you have that urge to take it!
I mean just look at this 😋

I had a struggle with coffee ☕️ when I was in highschool. I used to, regularly, skip some classes and go to coffee shops sometimes more than once a day.

When I decided to take my lessons more seriously, the only thing that tried to prevent me was the headache caused by my need for coffee. So I decided to be radical about it and, just like that, I stopped drinking it.

I didn't know about the 21 days rule so I never knew when I was safe to start drinking coffee with a reasonable frequency. More than 10 years later, I'm still careful about it 😅

I do have other bad habit that I'm trying to quit now, and it's not that easy, not even for 21 days. Maybe it gets harder when we get older 🤔. Anyway I'll try again and again until I beat them all 😉.

Thanks for the reminder

I'm so glad that you got over that coffee addiction when you were younger and I am thrilled to hear that you are taking the correct steps in order to break the existing habits that you have! I think young or old it is hard to break an addiction so any one that you do get rid of is a huge success! :)

Thanks for reading and for your thoughtful comment! :)
