I have been making Chili for probably over 20 years, as the years have passed I have adjusted my recipe and continuously made it better tasting and more practical. Although I like to keep things simple with my recipes, when you want amazing flavor, sometimes you have to take the longer, more difficult route. To make truly remarkable Chili that is exactly what you must do.
Ingredients:
1/2 tbsp of crushed chili flakes
1 tbsp smoked paprika
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup of Worcestershire Sauce
8 cloves of minced fresh garlic
1 tsp of cumin
2 tbsp honey
3 lbs of your favorite ground meat
1 diced bell pepper
1 diced large white or yellow onion
20 oz can of stewed or crushed tomatoes
This is one of the extra steps that improves this Chili. Run your tomatoes, brown sugar, half the bell pepper, half the onion, a bit of honey and chili flakes, pulse until you get a salsa like consistency.
This is another important extra step. In a large pan with hot oil add your garlic first, then the onion, then the bell pepper that was left. Cook until aromatic and soft, then add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Combine the Meat mixture and Salsa in a crockpot and stir well until mixed evenly. Then add the rest of your ingredients and seasonings, mix one last time, put the cover on and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Serve with your favorite organic chips, shredded cheese, and a dab of sour cream or home made Creme Fraiche.

good post!
Looks great. I love Mexican food. I could eat it very day (in theory). Stuffed into a tortilla is my favorite. 😊
Awww schnizzle! When I was still eating meat I would of made this in a hot second. Perhaps I'll adapt with Beyond Meat's "beef" crumble? 🤔🤔🤔 Anyway, looks gr8. 👌
You would be surprised at how good you can actually make this with some good beans and mushrooms in place of meat. I make a ton of vegan recipes too, actually have not made a video on Vegan Chili yet. I will make one for our youtube channel this week and post the recipe here.
Ohhhh yaassss -- a vegan chili recipe would be awesome and trying the mushroom options sounds bomb. Thanks for the tip!
I will have a video and recipe up for it really soon. 👌🏼👌🏼
Boom. Lookin' forward to it.
