This is yema chiffon cake. How i do it? Here's my procedures :
- separate eggyolks from the white.
- whip the yolks and the sugar until it become light in color and thick. Or until you can form a number 8 and it slowly disappear. Then, add the vanilla and two tablespoons of water.
- Next is whip the eggwhite,cream of tartar and sugar until stiff peak form.
- Then mix the dry ingredients. The flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add the dry mixture to the eggyolk mixture. Mix well.
- Combine slowly the eggwhite mixture to the yolk mixture.
- Then put it in a baking pan or this two pieces sponges cake pan. And bake it. You know when it's done when you inserted toothpick at the center and it comes out clean..
For the yema frosting:
- Combine the condensed milk, 1 whole egg ,vanilla and a bit of salt in a cooking pan. And cook it in medium heat until thick but still spreadable.
- Set aside to let it cool..
- Spread the yema frosting at the top of the cake.
- And spread some grated cheese at the top..
