No need for buying the "break and bakes" when you can make your own, that taste so much better.

Yields 24 cookies
- 5 oz unsalted butter
- 3 oz granulated sugar
- 5 oz dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 11 oz All-purpose flour
- 3 oz eggs
- 6 oz milk chocolate chips
- 6 oz Extra dark chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter, sugars, salt, baking soda and vanilla until creamy
- Add the flour, chocolate chips and mix until an even, fine crumb texture
- Now add the eggs and mix until the dough comes together
- Scoop dough into whatever size portions/cookies you desire
- Bake on a parchment lined sheet pan 10-12 minutes, or longer/shorter depending on the size of the cookies
