I have noticed that so many homes around here prefer to have their spaghetti in a white way, I mean cooking it plainly and then consuming it with fried stew just like the way we eat our white rice.

Nice post and I actually just had fried plantain now after in almost a year, I missed it so much I had to go to a Nigerian market in Johannesburg to go buy it.
