If you’re in Lagos, Nigeria and you haven’t gone to eat at “THE PLACE”, believe me when I say you’re missing a lot.
From the vast variety of foods, to the serene environment, to the quality service.
“THE PLACE” is the place to be when your tummy asks for food.
With so many branches in Lagos, Ikeja, Surulere, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki.
I visited the branch Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere.
So myself and fellow stemian @gerald.knows accompanied with a few others were on our way back from a concert where we stepped up and it was time to step down. So we had gone to places such as Domino’s Pizza, Shoprite, but they were all so crowded. Having given up hope, we decided to try out THE PLACE. I’ve heard a lot about the restaurant but had never been to it. So I seized the opportunity.
On getting there, first thing that drew my attention was the cleanliness of the place. So clean.
So we got ourselves a table and decided to order.
Ordering was quite fun. The attendants were very interactive, seemed educated and responsible. You will know they enjoy working here.
So we got to ordering. So many mouth-watering dishes to choose from. But man must pick one. So I settled for a portion of basmati rice, a portion of jollof rice, a portion of plantain and chicken with a bottle of Fanta.
Ever been in this situation where you haven’t eaten the food, but the aroma of the food tells you you’re going to need to order more but then your pocket reminds you why you can’t. yes!! That was my situation.
In all fairness, the prices were relatively cheap.
OMG!!!! That was the thought as I took a bite. The rice was awe. The chicken, even better. Chicken was too good I had to use my hand to eat it. I dropped all the etiquette and handled that chicken like an African man.
My friends and I all had wonderful comments about the food and service.
Immediately we finished, waiters came to clear our table, talk about good service.
Of course we couldn’t leave without filling the customer satisfactory form because we were all beyond satisfied.
Clean Environment + Good Service + Good Food + Fair Prices = THE PLACE
The Best Buka I’ve eaten in so far. I was sad to leave but one thing I’m sure of is that I’ll definitely be going back there soon.
The food calls my name and I will answer.
