in #food8 years ago

Hello friends everyone knows what a delicacy !!!!!
It is very difficult to find a person who does not like to travel. New cities, beautiful landscapes, unusual traditions, original dishes. I bring to your attention a list of exotic dishes that can harm your health,

Fugu, Japan. The world famous fugu delicacy is not simply called "Japanese roulette". The fish contains a deadly dose of tetrodotoxin, which is reduced during cooking. If the fugue is prepared qualitatively, then during its tasting, only a small numbness of the tongue is felt. This technique is owned only by masters who have passed a special training course. In the hands of the cook, who cooks fish, is the life of people who dream of "tickling their nerves."

Skorpena, Pacific and Atlantic oceans, the seas of their basins. Lovers of extreme cuisine dream of trying a scorched fish. The fish meat has a pleasant taste and resembles a crab, but the thorns contain poison. Only an experienced chef can cook it properly. To the delight of extreme enthusiasts, scientists developed a poison antidote. The fishermen near Australia and New Zealand catch a red skorpena, and some species of this sea ruff can be found in the Mediterranean and Black seas.

Carambola, Asia, North and South America. This fruit with a funny name is quite appetizing, and its leaves and flowers have medicinal properties. The fruit of carambola taste good, but you should not use more than a pair of lobules. Carambola contains a large amount of oxalic acid, which is harmful to the kidneys. It also contains neurotoxins that can cause hallucinations.

Escamoles, Mexico. In Mexico, tourists can try a dish with eggs of giant ants of lyomethopums that live in the roots of agave. In consistency, they are something like cottage cheese, and their taste resembles a nut. The eggs themselves are harmless, but if the cook cooks the delicacy dishonestly, venomous black ants can saty in the dish that are dangerous to human health.

Manioc, Africa, the Caribbean, Asia and South America. Correctly cooked root has a tender taste and is similar to boiled potatoes. It is served to meat, added to sauces, desserts, and also dough is made from it. It contains a large number of nutrients, but if it is improperly processed, it may leave a toxic substance (linamarin). Manioc is very fond of Africa, so locals often get endemic goiter and child pellagra.

"Rotten cheese" Casu Marzu, Italy. This "masterpiece" of sheep cheese was invented in Sardinia. Until 2010, Casu Marzu was sold illegally, after it was recognized as a local delicacy. Special taste and softness is given to it by larvae of cheese flies, which accelerate fermentation. If all the larvae have not been removed from the cheese, they can jump and fall into your eye, and if they are accidentally swallowed, this can lead to problems with the gastrointestinal tract and vomiting.

Aki, Jamaica. Aki (bligia) resembles a pear, and it comes from Africa. Fruit was especially popular in Jamaica. Edible are the fruits that were collected in a strictly defined period. Immature or overripe fruit is very toxic, the tasters can have complications that have been called "Jamaican vomiting syndrome". In ripe fruit, you can eat only the flesh.

"Century Eggs", China. The Chinese do not cease to amaze with the variety of tastes. They have a very unusual, but quite dangerous dish - sunhuadan. Duck eggs are salted and left in the ashes for 100 days. After the allotted period of time, eggs can be fed to the table. It looks spectacular, but produces a sharp smell of ammonia. This snack is suitable only for people with an "iron" stomach. The rest can get poisoned.

Fish-stone, Pacific and Indian oceans. Wartow is one of the most poisonous fishes in the world. Only one touch to it can lead to fatal consequences. Spines of the dorsal fin of fish-stone contain deadly poison, which causes shock pain, paralysis and death of tissues. People who managed to survive are restored for months. However, despite the danger, there are many who want to try this delicacy.

Rambutan, Southeast Asia. Despite its colorful appearance, this exotic fruit is quite dangerous. People who have not eaten the fetus may experience an allergy and even diarrhea. Local residents advise to be limited to 4-5 fruits, fruit is also contraindicated to people with ulcers. Seeds in Rambutebones can be eaten only after cooking - fresh they are toxic.
