I had the lovely chance to be invited to work with a digital nomad in Saigon, Vietnam (known officially as Ho Ch Minh City, although expats and some southern Vietnamese still refer to the city by it's old name, Saigon).
Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam, and by Vietnamese standards, is one of the most happening cities that is continuously growing and growing. When you get there, you'll notice that there are so many scooters around, probably as much as the population of the country. In another post about Saigon, I'll give tips on how to cross the streets there without fear and without getting yourself killed.
As many people think, most of the popular foods one eat in Vietnam include banh mi and the noodle soup pho. But honestly, I was obsessed with the quality of the Japanese food that was in the area of Saigon near Le Thanh Ton street. As many know, eating Japanese food is quite expensive in Japan as well as overseas, but in Saigon, the prices are much cheaper and the quality is still there. The value is beyond great, so if you go to Saigon and love Japanese food, you will not a find a shortage of Japanese restaurants to eat.
Otherwise, it's very very difficult to go hungry in Saigon ... there's many different cafes and restaurants to eat of many choices. And again, prices are extremely affordable for expats who want to always eat out.
Have you been to Saigon, Vietnam to eat many of the delicious food?

Yes lots of great food. I'll have to admit, a lot of the photos I posted above are of Japanese cuisine, but that's why I wanted to share and let people know that people can get lots of affordable food at great quality in Vietnam!
Can you tell us more about the quality of the Vietnam kitchen? Very interesting!
