Certain fish like barracuda, amber jack, and any older/larger fish have a higher chance of carrying parasites, bacteria, etc. that can harm you. The smaller fish are generally safer and when you filet them you can see if they have worms, but you do run the risk of getting ciguatera. It's also best to freeze your filet's before eating it raw to kill any parasites.
