A Delicious and Amazing Exotic Sweet - A Must Try Recipe - the Caribbean version of Goolab Jamoon

Dear Steemit friends

If you are ever feeling for something sweet and want to try the most amazing delicious recipe from the exotic island of Trinidad and Tobago, try Goolab Jamoon.

In order to make 30 Goolab Jamoon, you will need

2 cups of flour
4 oz of butter (room temperature)
2/3 of a tin of condensed milk (395gram tin)
2 teaspoon of ground spice (cinnamon)
1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
2 teaspoon of cardamon
1 teaspoon of baking powder
enough oil for frying (preferably coconut oil)

For the syrup the coat the sweet

2 cups sugar (brown)
1 cup water

Step 1

Beat the butter, milk, spices (cinnamon and cardamon), ginger until the mixture becomes light in texture.

Step 2
Mix in the flour and knead to a spongy consistency.

Step 3

Pinch out a 1 inch portion and roll it between your hands to form a finger shape.

Step 4

Heat up oil and fry to a brown colour.

Step 5

Drain and let cool

Step 7

Boil sugar and water until the mixture begins to reach thread stage (102 Celsius / 215 Fahrenheit)

Step 8

Pour sugar mixture over the Goolab Jamoon and stir to coat quickly.

Step 9

Leave to cool and then enjoy!

Thats look awesome tasty. I would love a bit of this cake to my coffee at the table. This cake taste so good. Sad i dont have any oven here in Thailand. MAbye i can put it in the Sun.
