Origin of Kacha Golla ( কাঁচাগোল্লার আদিকথা )

It has been famous for about 250 years. There are many references to the origin and history of this Kacha Golla.

The nimtola of Natore town was a sweet (sweet made) craftsman named Madhusudan. He used to make many sweets every day. His sweet was very popular at that time. One day suddenly 15/20 employees of his shop got sick. Then he went after thinking. One day he would do so alone with a raw sweet? Then he thought that if the raw sweet were to be burnt and sirai sweets, then it would not be wasted. The idea is that job.

Then he burned the raw sweet and made a hot sugar syrup again. Then he was surprised by the sweet face. The taste of this new sweet taste is not less than the usual juice or drinks. What is the name of this new sweet? Since he has made sweets by mixing only sugar syringe without doing anything from the raw sweet, he named the sweets as the Kacha Golla

During Rani Bhaban's time, the reputation of the famous Kacha Golla spread abroad. Even today, 250 years ago, despite its invention, its reputation abroad still remains. It is very popular in Natore's wedding or on various occasions.

King Dwijendranath Roy Bahadur was the greatest fan of this Kacha Golla. In 1840, King Prasanna Nath Roy Bahadur of Dighapati, used to celebrate this festival with the sweetness of the people of Srikrishna. This sweet was then sent to Calcutta and the Royal family of Bengal.
