Two Michelin that I went in New York! 私が行ったNYの二つのミシュランレストラン #1

Before going to Japan, I went on a trip to NY and had such great experiences on restaurants over there! So, I would like to share them for you all.

My boyfriend and I went a lot of places, but two unforgettable ones are Trishin and Tim Ho Wan. Both of them are selected as Michelin Restaurants and have very tasty dishes.

Let's take a look Torishin first.

**Every dish there was too good and I forgot taking pictures. I am very sorry.
You can search it on Yelp. You can see a lot of pictures there!

Torishin is a Japanese Yakitori Restaurant (grilled chicken on stick) owned by Japanese owner. This restaurant has two types of areas; 1. Select Bar, which is the owner grills the chickens in front of you. You will be able to experience fresh and tasty Yakitori for every single dish. This bar costs higher than the other. 2. Regular table/bar, which other stuff grills the chickens for you guys. You my choose either bar or table. It is cheaper than the select bar.

So, we decided to dine at the regular bar and ordered "Omakase" (Chef's pick)

It started with an appetizers. These were amazing....!

Then Yakitori came... Oh my goodness, these were so good. These probably the best Yakitoris that I have ever had, even compared to the ones in Japan.

My favorite was Chicken Oyster.

It was very juicy and so so good. I still remember the taste...

The second favorite was a grilled avocado.

This is not just a grilled avocado as it looks like!
The avocado with this sauce taste perfect together. The grilled avocado is not dry at all!

After all the grilled ones, we had a choice of Donburi (Rice bowl).
I had Mentaiko Chazuke (Rice in broth with cod roe)

It was tasty as well. The warm and kind taste made me feel that it ties up the Omakase very well.

At the end, we got a Hojicha Ice Cream, which was delicious as well of course.

The Omakase was $65. I think it totally worths it.
If you have a chance to visit NY, I highly recommend you try Torishin.
