If you are into picking wild mushrooms they are out in full force this year with all the rain in North Georgia. I've been picking chanterelle for the last couple of weeks. I pour some olive oil on them, add salt, pepper and minced garlic then saute them in butter. DELICiOUS!

We have had a ton here in North Central Georgia too
They are so bright and beautiful! That's some good #foraging! I look forward to seeing how you are enjoying your chanterelles. And I hope you have a good, long season for them!
It’s nice to see a new forager here on Steemit! Thanks for sharing your chanterelle bounty! I hope you share how you use them, too.

I am tagging the post with the #foraging tag, too, because wild edible mushrooms are some great foraging! Happy chanterelle foraging!
Thanks!!! Kind of new to steemit, didn't think about tagging foraging to the post. Good to know there are foragers on here!
Yeah, it's gonna be a bumper crop year for them. I've never stored Chanterelles before, I always just eat however much I pick, but this year I might have to look into some kind of storage method.
Those in your picture look like the got beat up by the rain a little bit, kinda frayed around the edges.
I've never tried them. Are they better than morels?
NO I like morels better, but they are right behind them. Very tasty!
Mmmmm! Sounds so yummy!!!!
Are those the fruity smelling ones?
Yes the smell like apricots, one of the way to id them. Don't taste like them LOL
Awesome!!!! :)
Yum yums!
