What you will need:
200g Self raising flour,
2 Large eggs,
100g Maralade without bits,
100g Orange peel,
200g Unsalted butter,
200g Sugar,
1tsp Salt and Vanilla Extract,
1tsp Golden syrup (optional),
4tsp Milk
Method
Into a clean bowl add softened, room temperature butter and all of the sugar, using a folk, begin to beat the sugar and butter, it should look like a paste.
Crack in both eggs and add a tbsp of sieved flour for each egg, stir thoroughly until completely combined.
Sieve in the remainder flour and mix. Make sure you can't see any flour pockets otherwise it won't taste that nice when baked!
Add the mixed peel, milk and marmalade. This is one of the simplest recipes ever!

Cut a circle out of baking paper and cover a 9x9inch cake pan wth a thin layer of butter, add the parchment paper and pour in the cake mixture.
Place into a preheated 180degree oven till golden brown on top for about 40-50 minutes, using a knife or cake spewer into the cake, if cooked should come out clean! x Leave to cool down and serve with custard or even cream! Delicious! X Please vote and get to the highest. Enjoy making!
