Smoothie of the Day

May 9, 2018

Good Evening folks! Hope you had a nice Wednesday... It's half-way until the weekend! Today I will show you another smoothie recipe. I will make it into a segment titled 'Smoothie of the Day'. Hopefully in the future I will continue to share different variations with you. There are millions of ways to make a smoothie! It's a great way to ingest a large amount of nutrients in a short amount of time.

Today's Ingredients

1 Apple
1 Banana
Goji Berries
Dash of Dulse Flakes
Teaspoon of Acai Powder
Heaping tablespoon of Ground Flaxseed
Cinnamon
Splash of Apple Cider
Lemon Juice
Ice Cubes

Step 1: Squeeze the Lemon

Add the juice from half of a lemon into a blender.

Step 2: Add the Apple

Slice up an Apple and add it to the blender.

Step 3: Add the Banana

Slice up a banana and add it to the blender.

Step 4: Dash the Dulse

Sprinkle in a dash of Dulse flakes.

Step 5: Splash the Cider

Add a solid splash of apple cider to the blender.

Step 6: Blend it up!

Blend up the smoothie until well mixed.

Step 7: Add Acai

Once blended, add a teaspoon of dried acai powder.

Step 8: Gettin' Goji Wit It

Add a handful of dried Goji berries to the mix.

Step 9: Add the Flax

Add a heaping tablespoon of ground flaxseed to the blender.

Step 10: Ice, Cinnamon & Blend

Add a few ice cubes and a dash of cinnamon. Blend it all up again until smooth.

Enjoy!

Pour it into a glass or drink it straight from the blender bottle. The result is not very photogenic, but it certainly is healthy and delicious. Enjoy and have a great day!

Ive never heard of Dulse flakes, I'll have to look those up.

It’s a seaweed sort of like Kelp. It’s a great detox supplement and supports thyroid healthy function
