Hi Steemit Friends! I'm from the Philippines, specifically in Cebu City. Cebu is one of the most urbanized and developed provinces in the Philippines. Cebu is a perfect combination of modern and island life. The best thing about Cebu that tourists highly enjoy is its delicious food!
Let me give you a quick list of what to eat in Cebu that you will surely leave you wanting more!
1. LECHON
Cebu is also dubbed to the the "lechon capitol of the Philippines". Lechon is also known as "Roasted pig". Cebuanos have perfected the art of roasting pigs. When in Cebu, you gotta try the famous lechon that everyone is talking about. There are a lot of delicious lechon restaurants but the most delicious and juicy lechon that I've tasted is the one in Rico's Lechon.

2. NGOHIONG
In Cebu, ngohiong is the local kin of a spring roll: a deep-fried, battered rice-paper roll containing julienned singkamas (jicama) and/or ubod (technically heart of (coconut) palm, but may also refer to bamboo shoots), ground pork, minced shrimps, garlic, and onions. Seasonings include salt, pepper, and—most important—Chinese five-spice powder (composed of star anise, cloves, cinnamon, Sichuan pepper, and fennel seeds); the starchy, spicy, sweet-and-sour dipping sauce likewise uses Chinese five-spice powder. This is the most famous streetfood in Cebu. You will want to keep coming back for more!

4. Yakski Barbecue
One favorite street food of Pinoys is barbecue--pork or chicken meat or giblets skewered on sticks and cooked over a charcoal grill. For Cebuanos, the go-to place for barbecue is Yakski Barbecue. Barbecue gives you that homey feeling and you can never go wrong with barbecue.
