Healthy Combo of Corn And Mushroom With Carrots and Chayote

Hello everyone! How's it going?

You know what? I did a tad of experimenting. I didn't know precisely if the main ingredients could go well. There was only one way to find out.

So what's cooking? I had a can of corn kernel, a can of whole mushroom, a carrot and chayote. It's not the typical mixed veggie that I prepare but I thought it doesn't hurt to try.

I added a little pork on this dish. I separated the pork fat, and cook it first to extract the oil. Once the oil was extracted, I put in the remaining pork meat, and waited until it becomes golden brown. Then put in the minced onions and garlic, followed by the chayote. The chayote was the hardest veggie to cook so I sauteed for a few minutes. Once it became tender, I put in the corn and mushroom. I made sure that it's cooked before putting in the carrots. You may put bellpepper if you like. Then, add salt and pepper to taste. You can use umami seasoning as an alternative to pepper.
