Asian cuisine is so different from American food. The flavors and textures are so unusual. Today, I thought I would share some different dishes I tried.

The first dish I had, is a dessert soup called "dou meo." It is made out of soy bean and can be topped with all sort of toppings. We put tapioca balls, peanuts and jelly in ours. The dessert is served warm, and it is super delicious! I love how the texture of the jelly feels in your mouth.

After dessert, we went to grab a drink called "black fungus drink." It is literally made out of black fungus. It doesn't sound very good, but I decided to be a trooper and try it anyways. I was pleasantly surprised, as this drink is chew and quite sweet. No sugar was added! Drinking black fungus has good health benefits and it even helps collagen growth! So that's how the asians stay so youthful! :)

Anyways, I thought I would share some bizarre dishes with you! What strange food have you tried? Feel free to share below!
