Nk Trnje
I have been a couple of times in Zagreb before and I always visit Nk Trnje. It is a restaurant where you can eat awesome meatplates. I took my friends there and we were so full... OMG. We were only 3 guys, and could not finish everything. If you are 4-5 guys, it might be doable!
Best Meatplate
You get fantastic bacon, chicken, beef, pork on top of fries. It is really awesome and everything tastes juicy and the meat is delicious. We ordered some salad and a Croatian cream called Kajmak. Eat it with bread and meat it is super delicious!

I've tried Kajmak, but in Serbia. I hope to visit Croatia in the future. We have similar food in Romania.
Serbian homemade kaymak the best! If you are in Zagreb try Serbian M&Z on Ravnice the best grill!
Yummy... The last pictures made me remember a similar delicacy in Nigeria called 'suya'.

I'm actually thinking a sparkling wine to balance the oiliness and the saltiness.
Of course, beer would work just as well.
This food is something! All kinds of delicious tasty meat on top of fries.
Is it even possible to eat it all?? I'd love to visit this place :)
So far I didn't saw fishes as dish, don't you like that ? Would be good to show me the nice fishes you tried in such a nice coutry near the sea

The meat plate looks mouthwatering good, it doesn't help that all I had was a tuna sandwich the whole day. Thanks for making my keyboard wet with drool ;)

Kajmak is selling in Russia, even in METRO stores. And it is really very tasty.
