I know it's not Thanksgiving yet . . .

. . . Yet I felt like having some turkey meatballs for dinner haha. The recipe is basic and simple, sometimes I think the less ingredients you work with the better your dish will come out. Same here. There are endless ways to make this better, and there are ways to make it suck, I decided to stop in the middle, this is what happens what you're hungry.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary;
  • salt & pepper to taste;
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning;
  • 8 oz tomato paste;
  • 2 cloves of garlic (chopped);
  • 1 shallot (chopped);
  • cooking oil;
  • handful of panko bread crumbs.

Directions:

Place the turkey meat into a mixing bowl, add salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, bread crumbs and mix. At this point you can add an egg to the mixture if you wish, but I decided to skip it.
1 pound of ground turkey makes approximately 16 medium-sized meatballs.

Heat your skillet at a medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides for about 5-6 minutes. Transfer them onto a plate. In the same skillet cook chopped shallot and garlic for a few minutes, add in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper (if needed), return the meatballs on the skillet. Lower the heat, partly cover the skillet and simmer the meatballs for about 15 more minutes or until fully cooked.

Cook pasta according to the package instruction. You can substitute it for mashed potatoes or baked vegetables, ultimately anything else you love to eat. I thought spaghetti was a decent choice since I made a red sauce for the meatballs.

Pasta is one of my favorite things, I like to put a lot of parmesan cheese and it's the best for my clear hahaha now if we put some meatballs much better, but I've only tried them with beef, I should prepare them with turkey that if it is still available in some supermarkets. It's ten o'clock in the evening in my country, I've been eating for a long time and I've seen this and I've just been hungry.

How are you friend? beautiful photos and decoration as only you can do it

Agreed, pasta is awesome as long as cheese is involved haha. I just felt like making my dish as simple as I could, I was pretty hungry and just couldn't wait to eat haha.
Yeah, for sure, check if you can get some turkey meat, I like it, and I like beef as well, but lately I've been into turkey haha, have you tried turkey burgers? Oh boy those are delicious!
Thank you!

I could not wait that either looks very good, it usually happens to me when I prepare a sandwich sometimes I can not wait to eat it but I must calm down hahaha
This is how pasta and cheese are a perfect combination for me, the cheese is the best. If I should try and I have not tried the turkey burger once I prepare a piece of turkey and I like it just that I have not gone to the place where they sell turkey

Yeah, I try to have snacks in between meals, but it works out very rarely, so I end up going verrry hungry and then eating a bunch hahaha. Hopefully you can find some turkey meat around!

I love pasta, but haven't tried with meatballs. Simple recipe. The dish looks yummy and I have to try it.

Thank you :)

I've made beef meatballs previously and served those over pasta, the turkey ones turned just as good!

My favorite food is pasta. It's so much tasty to eat But I did not know how to make pasta. Today I know how to make pasta. I will make it at home.

Awesome, usually the directions are written on the back of the package, just follow them. This post however doesn't teach you to make pasta haha.
