Adapun resep membuat Mie Kocok Aceh :
Bahan-bahan :

Telur rebus sebanyak 2 btr, poong jadi 4
Daun bawang sebanyak 1 btg, potong halus
Ebi sebanyak 2 sdm, rebus dengan air panas, angkat dan goreng tanpa minyak, dihaluskan
Bawang goreng sebanyak 2 sdm
Seledri sebanyak 1 btg, potong halus
Bahan untuk kuah :
Udang sebanyak 250 gr, dikupas
Tepung maizena sebanyak 1 sdm
Air kaldu ayam sebanyak 1 L
Bahan bumbu :
Bawang putih sebanyak 3 btr
Bawang merah sebanyak 5 btr
Jahe sebanyak 2 cm, digeprek
Cengkeh sebanyak 5 bh
Kaldu bubuk sebanyak ½ sdt
Pala sebanyak ½ bh, digeprek
Garam sebanyak ½ sdm
Merica sebanyak ½ bgks
Cara membuat Mie Kocok Asli Aceh :
Siapkan air kemudian rebus bersama pala dan cengkeh, tunggu sampai matang. Buat bumbu halus bawang merah, bawang putih, serta merica. Panaskan wajan dan minyak kemudian tumis bumbu yang sudah dihaluskan bersama jahe hingga matang dan wangi.
Masukan udang, aduk sampai warnanya berubah, aduk dan tunggu matang. Angkat dan tambahkan kedalam rebusan air kaldu, aduk hingga rata. Masukan kaldu bubuk dan garam, aduk rata.
