Hello steemit world! This is my very first time to blog about the food we cooked on our very own version. Well actually, the ala Max Fried Chicken was not my own version, rather we watched it in Youtube on how to make it but the bean sprout with mix meatballs is my own version. Just to make some difference why not put some meatballs that we usually used in Shabu-shabu to give more aroma and taste. Thanks to my husband who prepared the chicken, it really taste like Max Fried Chicken! 😍😍😍
To start now here are the ingredients to prepare and the following procedures to follow:
STEAM THE CHICKEN
To get the aromatic taste and crunchiness of Max Friend Chicken the secret is to STEAM the whole chicken. Put 1 pitcher of water in a sauce pan and include parsley, bay leaves, clove of garlic and lemon grass. At the top of the picther put the whole chicken inside the steamer, let it boil for about 30 minutes.
If the chicken is tender enough, let it cool at the corner with room temperature. Put some salt and pepper afterwards and rub it against the skin of the chicken, inside and out.
FRYING
Pour a vegetable oil almost half of the frying pan and make sure the chicken will be deep fried. Let the oil reached its temperature before putting the chicken. Cover the pan while frying the chicken to reached the maximum temperature.
Wait for 15 minutes before turning the chicken or until its golden brown.
Tada! that's it, here's the ala-Max Fried Chicken, so tender, mouth watering flavor and juicy!
MIXED MEATBALLS IN BEAN SPROUT
Since the main course is fried chicken I made sure it will be combined with a crunchy and healthy vegetables so I thought of cooking bean sprout. This dish is actually my favorite one but this time I made some difference by adding up meat balls from what we usually used in Shabu-shabu. So here's the list of ingredient you need to prepare.
INGREDIENTS
PROCEDURE
Cut the garlic into fine chopped while the onion, baguio beans and carrots into thin slice.
Then cut the meat balls into half, cubes or as you like, it depends on your bite size.
SAUTEING
In a large frying pan, put a little oil and fry the meat balls until golden brown then set aside once done.
Then begin to saute the garlic, onions, baguio beans and carrots, let it simmer for three minutes, put salt and pepper to taste.
To make it more tasty, add Magic Sarap and it will give instant magic to your dishes! 😋
Add one glass of water, let it boil until the vegetables became tender. Then add the bean sprout, stir and cover the pan and simmer for more five minutes.
Don't forget the meat balls, add it up as a toppings! Yalla ready for lunch! 😋😋😋
THE AWAITED PART 😍😍😍
Of course, after spending a couple of hours for the preparation of our lunch this is the most awaited part, eating! This is no joke my dear steemit friends, it was really like Max Fried Chicken, best match for my Meat Balls Bean Sprout! Perfect and absolutely delicious.
