When we first started posting here on Steemit it was a trial and error process to see what people would want to see from us. Turns out people liked most of what we had to share, especially food. Inspired by a recipe I shared more than a year ago here on Steemit I purchased some plantains from the market and made banana chips, this time substituting avocado oil for butter for technically vegan plantain chips.
Generally the plantains have more brown to them but I prefer them when they look more like this.
Cooked in my favorite cast iron pan with a little layer of avocado oil in the bottom to start.
Slice.
Fry.
Cinnamon Sugar.
Eat while fresh!
