Crab Meat Chanterelle Bacon Bowl

in #food7 years ago

Got some fresh crab meat today and of course I want to share with all my steemian friends. I went to Seattle for some walks while my son was at school this morning then I passed by the Japanese grocery store, Uwajimaya.

I love that store, mostly all the seafoods, fishes, meats are fresh. Even though the price is a little bit high on the price range but for the fresh ones I don't mind.

My own original recipe.
Prep Time: 15 minutes / Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients:

5 oz crab meat
1 package (or less) uncured or cured turkey or regular bacon
1/2 cup chopped fresh chanterelle mushroom
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese and a little bit more for sprinkle
1 teaspoon chopped fresh tarragon
1 tbsp butter
Black pepper and salt
You will need a mini or regular cupcake baking pan

Method:

Cut the bacon just big enough to arrange into the cupcake baking pan and press it down to look like a cup or bowl. Baked it for 5 minutes over 350 degrees or longer if you prefer to get more crispy texture.

Heat a tbsp of butter and cook the mushroom with some salt and pepper until the juice evaporates. Place it into a bowl and mix it with the other ingredients.

Add the mix ingredients into the bacon and Sprinkles with some parmesan cheese, then put it back into the oven until it's lightly brown.

Serve.
