I always love cooking. I always enjoy my time in the kitchen, trying out recipes & dishes that I want to cook for my family, so I often surprise them with the dishes I make, here are some of the meals I love to cook & ofcourse, as a mom I make sure the food that even if I cook lots of foods most of it are healthy and has nutritive contents.

Firstly, Bulalo! I often make this dish whenever It's rainy because often, bulalo is served hot. It is a beef dish, it's main ingredient is beef. And it nutritious ingredients. Namely, corn & chayote. Chayote is rich in anti oxidants, minerals & fibers, while corn is high in carbohydrates & has many vitamins too. Here's how I cook Bulalo :

  • Boil water in a pot with marrow bones.
  • After that, add the cleaned meat.
  • Then add onions, patis & garlic.
  • After placing the following ingredients, reduce heat to medium low.
  • After a short amount of time, add corn & chayote
  • Let it simmer for 20 minutes and done!

The beef dish Bulalo is served!

Moving on to the next dish, this one is honestly one of my favorites, it is easy to make & is really delicious! It is called adobong pusit! The ingredients of this dish are garlic, onions, ground pepper, soy sauce, vinegar & ofcourse the main ingredients is squid.

Let's move on to the procedure, heres how I make adobong pusit:

  • Place some cooking oil then stir fry garlic & onions.
  • When the smell of garlic is already coming up, place the cleaned squid with ground pepper.
  • After some few minutes, the squid would water a little, this indicates that it is ready for the next step.
  • Put a just right amount of soy sauce & vinegar and done!

Adobong Pusit is served too!

Third, is Lliempo, so tender & juicy! This really delicious! I have to admit, but I don't eat this everyday, atleast once a week or two. So basically, the ingridients are brown sugar, soy sauce & Lliempo or pork belly. Heres How I make it :

  • Firstly, I marinade the Lliempo in soy sauce & brown sugar for a few hours.
  • Then, after it is marinated, I grill the Marinated Lliempo in whole.
  • After grilling, I simply fry them & when it is cooked, I chop or slice them to smaller pieces.
  • I enjoy them with a sauce made out of lemon juice & soy sauce.

And there you go! The very tender & juicy Lliempo is served!

Lastly, is another dish that I also liked. Maybe one of the simplest in this list! Haha. This is Steamed fish with Black beans & tomatoes.

  • So basically, I steam fish with the topping of tomatoes. & black beans. And done! The sauce like liquid in the dish, maybe from the juices of the tomatoes! Very delicious!

Overall, I loved these dishes for quite an amount of reasons, mainly, I love cooking. Second, They look so appetizing! Everytime I look at the pictures Captured when I cooked these dishes, it makes me so happy.
