Greetings esteemed community of Steemit, today I want to share with you a delicious recipe, to enjoy with family and friends, it is the delicious empanadas de arequipe, very simple and easy to make.
Ingredients:
- 600 of all-purpose wheat flour.
- 90 grs butter
- 2 eggs (one for the dough and another for painting)
- 192 grams of water
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 48 grs of fresh yeast
- 3 grs of anise
preparation:
Step 1:
In a kitchen bowl, place the wheat flour, add the water and start mixing.
Add 1 egg, sugar, salt and knead.
Then add the fresh yeast and continue kneading until it disappears and there is a soft and manageable dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it stand for about 40 minutes to an hour until it grows three times its size.
Knead a few minutes again.
Step 2:
- Sprinkle the table with flour and stretch the dough well with a rolling pin.
- After spreading the dough, prepare a mold of the size you prefer for the preparation of your empanadas.
- Remove the excess molds and start preparing your empanadas
- Add the filling in each of the molds with the amount of arequipe you want.
- Moisten the edges molds with water for a better closure.
Step 3:
- Then place the elaborated empanadas in a previously greased tray and take them to the oven for 10 minutes at 230ºC.
And finally the end result are the delicious empanadas de arequipe to share with our family and friends.
