Why am I all dressed up like this and it’s not even seven in the morning?
On this day, 125 years ago, greatest Croatian writer and big artist was born, at exactly 7 in the morning. So it was 7th of July at 7. Three sevens in a row for very special someone.
In this house, where this lovely event Breakfast at Krleza’s, took place, Miroslav Krleza lived with his wife Bela for many years. Interesting, this year was 7th year of the Miroslav Krleza festival and this breakfast, where various artists read his work and discuss his art, is my favorite happening of the year. And, one of the last events before I run away from Zagreb... by the sea! Happy birthday, one and only MK, we had a lovely time today!!
