Hi everyone. I just want to share with you my homemade leche flan that is always a bestseller.. I always make this dessert before because I sell it and somehow, others are wondering what are the ingredients that make it so special. I do not use too many ingredients for this so my main ingredients are:
5 cups brown sugar
9 eggs
1 can condensed milk
So there you have it!!! That's the only ingredients of my homemade leche flan, no more no less!!!
And to give you the instructions on how to make one, here's how:
Procedure:
1.) First, caramelize the brown sugar until it melts and add a little water. Continue to stir so that the sugar will not get hard and make sure that the brown sugar dissolves every bit of it.

2.) Crack the eggs then separate the egg white from the egg yolk. I usually just get the egg yolks that why it is firm when it is cooked. It's pure egg yolk without any eggwhites at all. You can make an icing for the egg whites if you like so that it won't be wasted.

3.) After you get all the eggyolks stir it and add the can of condensed milk and continue stirring to make it smooth.

4.) Then using a strainer, strain the mixed eggyolks with milk in another bowl for it be very smooth. While doing this, stir it continuously.

- Get your steamer ready while doing this so that when your done the water from the steamer is already hot.

6.) When your mixture is already smooth without any bubbles, prepare your leche flan molder and pour a small amount of the caramelized sugar in it.

7.) Pour the egg yolk mixture over the molder with caution to how thick the size of your leche flan will be. It should look like this.

8.) You can now put the mixture inside the steamer and wait for it to be cooked. Wait for 30 minutes to an hour. You will know if it is already cooked when you try to prick the center with a toothpick and it comes out clean.

9.) When it is already cooked, turn it over on a serving plate with the caramel on top and voila!!! Here's our homemade leche flan!! You can enjoy it better when its cold so just put in inside the refrigerator for 5 hours or even overnight to enjoy the sweet taste of it.
