Have you ever tried them?

There's no Easter meal without asparagus around here! Everyone loves them ( we call them - Šparoge - in Croatia :)

Every time we visit my parents on the Island Krk, we go for a walk around and we always come home with some asparagus (found some great spots ;)

Usually, they cost a little more than 30$ per kg! Expensive plant - it's hard to find them and you need to wear gloves to pick this variety (it has little thorns!)...

I picked those with my friend and my mum prepared a meal - fair deal! 😁 Her hands on the photo are ready to make some magic out of this...

Delicious, healthy, natural, organic! And thousand ways to prepare it - what more do you need? One perfect plant to pick in this time of year!
