It also explores how different chefs employed different techniques in cooking that home cooking is difficult to replicate that as there are chinese southern style technique in holding their ultra heavy wok to achieve that wok hei smell?
It's very interesting that it elevates food to a whole new level of perspective. In the past i just thought oh food was just mundane food on the plate and never thought much about it. Indeed, as man progresses we start to further think where our food came from. Is it an irony that as man progresses further, our concept of food is further away from the philosphy of Confucius teaching to eat locally and seasonally cos that's best for your body. Yet many of us fail to do that with the explosion of new fad food or fast food that is most often foreign import? I've alot of views on this but shall leave it till another day since it's quite a lengthy post as of now. Till then, think healthy and eat healthy and your body will definitely thank you for that.
