Carrot Bean Root with Quail Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 100 gr beans, cut into small pieces or along a match
  • 1/2 pieces of carrots, cut into matches
  • 2 pieces of tofu box, cut the cube and fry until dry
  • 10 quail eggs
  • 1 medium-sized red tomatoes, cut into pieces
  • 5 pieces of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 800-1000 ml of water
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

Spices:

  • 6 grains of red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 cm galangal, flatten
  • 1 tamarind / 4 tbsp of java tamarind water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar / soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • just enough powdered broth (optional)

How to make:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan to heat. Put onion and garlic, stir-fry until fragrant. Add galangal and bay leaf, stir fry back briefly

  2. Pour water and put all the ingredients as well as the remaining spices except tomatoes. Cook over low heat until the vegetables are cooked and seasoning permeates all ingredients.

  3. Correction of taste. Finally enter the tomato and turn off the stove burner. Serve warm with fried tempeh.
