I wonder how they keep them heated at an even temp that long. What a time consuming method to process. No wonder it's expensive. I wonder what variety of garlic is used to make it. Neat!
I understand they use some kind of a cooking pot. Have to do more research.
That's a cool gift! Could you imagine the smell of roasting garlic for a month to six weeks? I mean, I love me some garlic but...yeah. Yikes. Please do tell us how it tastes and how you used it!
My sentiments exactly. In this case the end product sounds better than the process. HappyNew Year @hethur240!
I love garlic, this looks very interesting - never knew this existed. That looks expensive though, but it might be worth a try. I wonder where they sell these in the U.S.
Please let me know if you discover where to purchase black garlic. Happy New Year!
OK, that's a new one on me. I will have to add that to my wish list of culinary delights.
It does sound like an interesting flavor. I hate to break it apart it is so perfectly cooked. Happy New Year! 🐓🐓
Way cool! Do let us know what you think...
I will let everyone know. Would like to find more info just in case I find it a delicacy I can’t live without. 🐓🐓Happy New Year aunt-deb!
Yay! I thought I'd heard it all about garlic, but this is a definitely a curve ball.
Happy New Year to y'all, too!
Looking forward to hear about the taste. What a concept i'm intrigued might try it if it gets your approval ;)
Monkeys are always the first to try new things don’t you know! Curious creatures that they are. Happy New Year my friend! 🐓🐓
Well true but this monkey likes to share :) A wonderful 2018 to you and the girls, the year when the 100th monkey wake an it will be an amazing one
It is delicious! You will kind of be ruined for regular garlic after it, though. I have had the pleasure via a meal delivery service and those little special ingredients that they include can really kick the recipe up to another level. I have recently relocated and am working on finding my asian markets because I know that if I went to a regular grocery for this type of item, I would be payed triple what will already be a more pricey ingredient (but rightly so with that amount of time and energy put into each clove!) I appreciate you sharing more information about this coveted ingredient!
You are right it is very good. I made a pasta dish that it was perfect in, so glad you stopped by.🐓
oooo I have never tried black garlic, crazy even though I am a self declared food nut. Was it worth the purchase?
It was a Christmas gift, going to try it tonight.
You can try it.
Very yummi @motherwchicks
