Such a fun and carefree dinner--browning ground venison with spices, putting it on chips and topping it with cheese, and broiling till the cheese melts. Pile it high with ALL THE FIXINGS! and then tear into the tasty mountain along with some beer! (Normally I make guacamole, but I forgot this time, hence the diced avocado).

We sometimes do the same thing with ground beef but we call it Taco Salad. It looks great though, especially the beer part!
Ahhh yes, it really is one! But to me a taco salad involves a bowl shaped tortilla...and a tostada involves a flat tortilla...and nachos involves tortilla chips...and a taco involves a folded tortilla....
And all 4 things have the exact same toppings. LOLOL
