For me summer = strawberries, and strawberries = summer ❤️
One does not exist without another – well, at least in @mykitchenlab.
Strawberries in smoothie, salad, cake, soup, juice or on a sandwich – it doesn’t matter where, they fit everywhere perfectly with their sweetness!
Currently In the UK we are experiencing the second week of heat which I don’t complain about as I rather usually miss it. Miss these moments when on a hot day I could just sit next to the window at the kitchen, with the refreshing strawberries dessert and care freely gaze at cloudless sky and leafy treetops of maple trees…
This dessert was frosting on the cake and making the life to slow down and appear to be a bucolic tale, while strawberries aroma was rising up around…
What am I talking about? Perhaps about the most easiest and famous polish summer dessert – pressed strawberries!
SIMPLE 🔸 FAST 🔸 CHEAP 🔸 HEALTHY 🔸 AND MOST OF ALL – DELICIOUS!

Serves: depending on amount of strawberries you use
Prep time: 10 min
Cooking time: 0 min
Ingredients:
- Strawberries
Method:
- Set up preferable amount of strawberries. Wash them and stem.
- Put strawberries in a deep bowl, to avoid effect of strawberry geyser 🤪 Press using potato masher. If you have not as many strawberries, a fork will also do the job.
- Enjoy your dessert!
The above recipe is 100% health and contains a small amount of calories, however if you don’t count them or just fancy a weekend cheat meal, you are more than welcome to tweak its taste by adding sugar/xylitol/honey or/and cream/yoghurt – the end effect its only up to your taste.

przy okazji - masz na myśli taką domowej roboty? nieraz w przepisach pisze 'kwąśna śmietana' i zastanawiam się, czy należy samemu ją ukwasić, bo w sklepach jeszcze nie widziłam :)
