So, you love tomatoes but you haven't tried them BBQ-ED?
You. Are. Missing. Out.
Plain and simple.
Your love for tomatoes will only intensify after you bite into your own BBQ-ED tomato.
What do you need?
Roma tomatoes (I'll leave you to decide the amount)
Slice each tomato in half (longways) and place on a piece of parchment paper.
Brush each tomato with a dash of olive oil and then sprinkle on however much of the following you prefer:
- salt
- pepper
- parmesan cheese
- fresh basil
Carefully fold the parchment paper around your tomatoes without bunching them all up into a ball. Fold tin foil around the parchment paper so that you can easily place them on the grill.
Heat up your bbq-er to 350 degrees fahrenheit and place them on the grill, turning only once.
The amount of time depends on the size of your roma tomatoes. From my pictures, they were left on the grill between 7-9 minutes.
