A Delicious Pasta And Shrimp Dish (Exclusively for Steemit)

in #food8 years ago (edited)

This inspiration came to me one late night reviewing an article from Michelin, one of the most well-known food reviewing organizations in the world. Some of the most famous restaurants are reviewed by this organization. Of course the dishes of this restaurant is very expensive, but I was inspired to create a  practical dish for any person. I believe the star in this creation is just the right combination of flavors of the lemon, wine, garlic, and cheese providing a very interesting slight garlic backdrop with just a slight hint of an acid edge.    This dish is quite easy for anyone to make, I hope you enjoy, and look forward to your comments.

  Ingredients

(½ #) shrimp (15 shrimp)

(16 each) clams, wash first

3 garlic clove slice

(3 tbsp.) butter

(2 stems) green onion

3 tsp feta cheese (or parmesan cheese)

8 oz. noodles

¼ cup white wine

(6 cup of water)

(3 tbsp.) olive oil

(1tsp) lemon juice

1 ½ tsp Salt

¼ a tsp black pepper

1 bowl of ice water

Directions  In a sauce pan bring to boil 6 cup of water add one table spoon of olive oil, pinch of salt and noodles, cook 5 to 6 mint. When pasta is ready, strain the water, and places the pasta in the bowl of ice water.  In the meantime, in a sauce pan add 2 tbs. olive oil, heat to medium temperature adds clams and cook for 2 minutes, add the shrimp, garlic, and white wine. Cook for additional 2 minutes, add butter, lemon juice, and feta cheese, a pinch of salt and green onion. Cook until ingredients are well mixed together, then add noodles to the sauce and mix together and serve while hot.

Nestor's table. Looks tasty. Too bad I am not a big fan of clams. Maybe I will I'll give it a try without the clams. Which cheese do you think tastes best, feta or parmesan?

Hello James. In my personal opinion, feta cheese is better because it is softer, acidic and neutral, soft consistency with very little fat, besides being positive for health. Hope my answer was helpful to you!

Thanks! I will try it with the feta as soon as I get a chance!

That looks delicious :))

Excellent decor!!!
