Putu Mayang, a Simple Recipe from Aceh

Hi Friends, this time I will share Putu Mayang's cake recipe. Usually we make these cakes in certain occasions, such as weddings or celebrations.

Ingredient :
300 grams of rice flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
Warm water to tastenya
Banana leaf for the base

HOW TO MAKE CUTS OF PATU MAYANG:
Stir rice flour, sugar, salt with warm water until clot.

Put the dough into the mold putu mayang, press while accommodated in banana leaves that have been smeared vegetable oil and steam up to 15 minutes.

Ingredients for gravy:
200 grams of sugar
500 ml of coconut milk from 1 coconut
1 pandan leaves
¼ tsp salt
Banana to taste
Cassava, to taste
Kolang Kaling to taste

How to make:
Boil kolang Kaling, sugar, coconut milk, pandan leaves and salt to boil. Enter the cassava and banana wait until boiling. Serve putu mayang with gravy sauce.
