Dear Readers!
Breakfast is an important part of the day, so wether in the morning or in the afternoon, but you should not skip it! After 12 hours of not eating your body deserves a break! We had an afternoon breakfast, while we were at a wedding yesterday (you can call it a hangover breakfast :)). No breakfast means a sluggish start to the day. It also makes a person eat larger meals in the course of the day.
In the morning you need:
- Carbohydrates
- Proteins
- Fat
- Vitamins and minerals
We went to one of Budapest's best place Törökméz which means honeycomb in english. The place itself is quit and cozy and the staff are very friendly and helpful!
Lets see what we had! I ate 3 dishes! Yeah i was pretty hungry!
I started with an avocado-salmon sandwich with poached egg! It was delicious! The bread was leavened, its a traditional bread type in Hungary! Salmon contains omega 3 which is good for your cardiovascular system. You should eat fish at least once a week!
Next I had cheese omelette with two wieners. Egg is a superfood! It contains all the amino acids that your body needs! It would be ideal to eat eggs every day! When you eat them in the morning it gives you a lot of energy!
My boyfriend only had a french toast, of course i tasted it too! We both drank freshly squeezed orange juice.
Make sure You visit this awesome place when you are in Hungary!
