I’m in the same boat I love junk food and anything with sugar in it, but recently I found out about ketosis a healthier way of eating which all it is, is a low carb diet, I currently stay under 20 carbs a day, buy sugar free sauces like ketchup, bbq sauces etc.... once you start it, it’s really not hard to want to keep doin it, when I started this way of eating 2 months ago I was 236# now I’m down to 217# and have way more energy, feel so much better and all I did was watched my carb intake..... currently all I eat is meat “chicken, bacon, ham, steak, cheeseburgers and other low carb meats” cheese all natural sliced or blocked cheese, eggs, cauliflower and broccoli, any sauces I use for flavor have 1 carb or less per serving, if u have never heard of the keto diet I totally suggest trying it if u wanna still eat some stuff u enjoy but lose some of that excess weight
