Yum yum! I don't know if I've ever actually tried tahini as a flavor, but I certainly love using it in hummus... I'm going to have to give it a try, I know, but it's really hard to go wrong with peanut butter. hahaha
I like this technique for making a checkerboard pattern... I'm sure it gives a nice and precise pattern. When I made a checkerboard cake in the past, I took the lazy route, and used piping bags to pipe the batter into alternating circles in the pan, which eliminates the need for cutters or extra frosting, but made some of the squares kinda wibbly-wobbly. lol
wibbly wobbly, yeah I've done that a few times. The technique can be made with any flavor of cake, of course, but I was wanting to get the idea out of my head and into a cake. Thanks so much for the awesome commenting as always @offbeatbroad
