Omg... Twinkie doughnuts?! Get outta town! Those look like the most delicious sugar coma ever. I must try this soon! lol I don't have a doughnut pan but I wonder if it'd work if I shallow-filled muffin tins instead...
I've never used syrup or honey in my swiss meringue buttercream. Is that to get the additional note of sweetness to mimic the twinkie filling?
