Tequeños or little fingers of cheese

It is traditional to go to any share or meeting between family or friends and taste this appetizer or paspalo. They are ideal for any occasion, even they are great as breakfast or dinner.

INGREDIENTS:

250 gr. of wheat flour.
125 gr. of butter
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon of salt
Warm water
Hard white cheese (not very salty) cut into small sticks.
Frying oil

PREPARATION OF THE DOUGH:

Place the wheat flour in a counter, add the butter, the egg and the salt. The warm water is poured little by little and it is kneaded until the mixture is compact, moldable and takes off from the hands. Let stand covered with a cloth for half an hour.

After that time, we chop the dough in two, flour the meson and stretch a part of it with the help of a rolling pin.

When stretched we cut strips of dough and wrap each cheese stick with it. Covering all the cheese with the dough, do not see the cheese.

We repeat this process to make all the tequeños and have them ready to fry.

Fry in hot oil on all sides, drain in absorbent cloth and serve even hot.
