The name comes from the fact that most often this mushroom is found under aspen trees, and also because the hat in color resembles the bright autumn leaves of aspen.
Mushrooms are used in different dishes. Mushrooms are dried, salted, pickled, fried with potatoes and frozen.

Those are some massive mushrooms what do they taste like? What do you plan to make with them?
These are very tasty mushrooms. We will fry them with potatoes, pickle and freeze for the winter, then to use for cooking soups and main dishes.
