Hi Steemians!
I love food but cooking was not my strongest suit. But since I moved to manila three years ago and started living alone, takes outs and fast foods don’t satisfy my taste buds anymore.
And then it hit me! I need to learn how to cook to live. And while I was contemplating on how to achieve the meals that I’ve craved for a long time, I realized how mama’s teachings about cooking are valuable for my survival.
And so here I am sharing with you the recipes (mostly my favorites) that I’ve tried on my own. I cooked these meals while calling my mom just because “mama’s knows best”.
Hopefully this may help all those independent fellas out there struggling to have a sumptuous home cooked meal! If you have suggestions to improve these recipes, you can leave your comments on my post and have a taste of a yummy paradise.
Craving for my first meal? Watch out for it in a few.
Bon Appétit!
To all "Mama" out there, you're all the best. Having a mommy, mama, nanay, nana, however you call your mother, someone that you can talk to, in times of necessity is priceless. They are the "darna" or "wonderwoman" of our lives. Things at home will be chaos without our mom.
Cooking isn't my forte as well but that does not mean i don't cook. I cook basics. Like sinigang (my favorite), adobo, roast chicken or roast porkloin...few more basics. LOL. Congratulations, such a mile to learn cooking. Great one! Thank you for sharing @ooleyjulie. Steem on.
