Hi people , If you're taking energy drinks whenever you feel you need a dose of activity, you might want to reconsider, because those things aren't good for you, energy drinks offer instant stimulant dose and give that effect because it is filled with sugar and caffeine and other materials and It has been a popular in recent years .
Eating those substances so much is harmful to health, sugar takes effect first, it causes the body to be in a fast state of activity and then it happens to be idle because of caffeine.
Caffeine activates the nervous system but slowly and gradually and does not give full effect until about an hour, but the extra activity he gives can last all day. It's okay for adults to eat 400 milligrams of caffeine a day .
For a clearer idea :
- A large cup of coffee of 475 ml contains 330 mg of caffeine.
- Energy drink of 475 ml contains 160 mg of caffeine.
- Red-Bull of 250 ml contains 80 mg of caffeine.
Caffeine can also become addictive,that mean the body needs more of it to feel the impact .
The problem of energy drinks is that they often contain substances that increase the effect of caffeine like Guarana, the South American, that contain caffeine than more coffee beans.
Some might think that drinking energy drinks in a few quantities does not hurt, but that may not be entirely true, as an American study showed that even a single energy drink could cause sudden health changes that could increase the risk of heart attack over time. Doctors are currently witnessing the effects of these risks in the ambulance rooms and cases related to increasing the level of caffeine and it have doubled in the last 10 years especially among young people between the ages of 18 and 25 years.
Another study found a relationship between energy drinks and brain injuries in young people , the European Scientific Commission specializing in the study of foods found that the increase in the use of caffeine leads to behavioural changes including the increasing of nervousness .
Even a British woman began to lose her eyesight because she was constantly eating energy drinks. The large amounts of sugar in those drinks increased her weight, she weighed 156 kilograms, she was hit by an increase in blood pressure, and she was temporarily blinded.
And it gets worse when you use energy drinks with alcohol, so it has very serious implications.
The emergency rate for energy drinks doubled between 2007 and 2011 in the United States, pushing the U.S. Food to prevent most of the energy drinks already blended with alcohol.
