Had an experiment to try and cook a vegetarian curry last night.
Did the normal mixed veg dish , but then had the inspiration of using a bottle of sauce lying in the cupboard, to liven it up a bit.
This is nothing like the curry sauces that I have used before from the supermarket.
After frying the vegs I dumped Mr Singh's sauce to simmer them with a flavour.
As soon as I had a little finger lick of the spoon , I had a feeling that this was going to be hot.
The first morcel was a fireburner and took my breath away.
This is what was left from last night, basically all but a bit of tyhe original dish was eaten, because the bulk came in the form of a large tub of cold yougurt !
Moral ;
always read the label and take samples first before dunking the whole bottle in the pan !
The first time I had a curry in a restaurant was at uni The regular Goe ers said that I will be able to handle a PAL when I took my first spoonful I expect that was probably the same reaction. Have never again ordered that dish again.
Lol. Interesting story of a spicy meal. I can imagine the fire in the mouth after tasting a dish in which a bottle of hot sauce has been dunked! Upvoted
I have a strange feeling that this is not the end of this sauce , as my stomach is having a field day
Ahhh. That great feeling in the stomach! All the best :)
Cool job!
LOL. Take it slow with the hot sauce..
