Yesterday, My mother bought potato and she asked me to make potato chips. I taught it's a good idea so i decide to make it. My mother has 2 kg potatos but i only got 2 photos of them.
so here's the ingredients:
- 7 peeled medium potatoes
- corn starch
- salt
- oil for deep-fat frying
Directions :
Using a vegetable peeler or metal cheese slicer I cut potatoes into very thin slices. I don't know why, but I really like this part, so fun but you must be careful to the slicer. Then I immersed them in a bowl of water and added 1 tsp salt for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, I drain it and sprinkled it with corn starch. the corn starch made it more crunchy.
I allowed the potatoes to cook at that temperature dip down 30°F or so.
Stirring a couple of times until they appear a bit soft and pale brown, I think it's about 3 minutes. I have to be patient at the time and must have been careful because the oil was hot.
After they turned to pale brown I drained on paper towels. Immediately sprinkle with seasoning mixture (cheese powder) and taraaaa the potato chips already to eat. It's so yummy and crunchy as I wished. Maybe you guys can try this at home.
Okay I think enough for today, thank you for reading my post, see you on next my posts. Wish you have a good time!!!
