Please don't judge me, it's not what you think!
While using ketchup as an "all-purpose" condiment is not exactly wrong, I don't really bring it out at every meal, like some people... (ahem, @bluerthangreen.) So then, why do I have it with my taquitos at the moment?
IT'S GOT PEPPERS IN IT!
While visiting Pepper Palace with @truconspiracy, I found this gem. Since peppers and tomatoes are some of the common main ingredients in salsas, I thought that this could work on many levels, even though it is named a "ketchup." Ghost peppers have become good friends of mine anyway, so I really like the "flavor."
Since it is such a tasty & spicy "salsa-like" sauce, it was a good fit with our taquitos tonight. A few things that I look forward to trying it with are hamburgers and french fries of course, but also things like steaks. I think it'll add a nice "hit" to a thick cut of meat fresh off the grill. We will see, but so far I am very happy with this purchase, and love the Ghost Ketchup! If you are interested in reading more about it, here is the official page from Pepper Palace.

ketchup will surely add to the savor of the food and enhances its taste when you dip your fav food to it. I do prefer those ketchup with a little bit sweet and spicy in taste, it is simply delicious thou.

You had me worried, but if there's potential to burn your face off with the power that is the ghost pepper, then I think it's ok. Ha ha. It looks like you might have a new all-purpose sauce.
add some finally diced onions and it will be even more like salsa.
(all that's missing then is some lime)

Never messed around with ghost-pepper, I know it's really spicy,
but I wonder is there much difference in flavour from habanero???
About three times hotter than habaneros.
And the taste? Does it have a "ghost-pepper" specific taste?

Mmmmm tasty post @papa-pepper. Well considering your garden I shall be expecting some pepper flavored homemade ketchup coming from your kitchen soon. Homemade ketchup is sooooooo delicious and actually tomatoes are still nutritious when cooked into ketchup so it has food value and if you used organic apple vinegar in it it would be a powerhouse of healing and flavour.... you could make your own label and resell..... probably the best ketchup in the world😍❤️🌶

Well, @papa-pepper, you grow ghost peppers and tomatoes. Why not make some ghost ketchup yourself? We have done that with other hot peppers (habaneros) and really like the results. We don't buy ketchup anymore. Homemade tastes so much better. But we don't have it every meal...

Yeah, had a pretty rough child hood... so for food, we would eat rice, with a fried egg... and Ketchup. It's actually delicious! My hubby thinks I'm crazy... haha sometimes, I still get a craving for it. #food
