Amazing flavor in a tiny package.
I recently obtained a number of very tasty, hot, small peppers. A chief from a tribe in Uganda had given some to a friend of mine, and now they are growing them in the United States. The peppers are small and remind me of the Pequins we find down in South Texas and Mexico, only slightly larger. Also, the flavor is reminiscent of the Ghost Pepper, jut not quite as hot. I'm trying to research exactly who this pepper is, and while I am finding some images of them online, I have yet to locate an actual name.... does anyone know what kind of pepper this is?

Those were the most common hot chili peppers here in country, they are indeed very hot. Green when young and the mature ones gets the red color. There is a variety too which is almost white and slightly bigger. :D
Looks like what they use for peri peri sauce. Maybe birds nest but I'm not sure. Those little guys are usually fiery stuff. Save those seeds.
Almost looked like Tabasco peppers for a moment. Can’t really compare how spicy they are as I'm not the best with heat lol.
These grow everywhere in Thailand too - the hottest of the hot!! We call them Prik-ee-nu. :) YUM. Your Thainess is measured by whether you can manage 5 of them in a bowl of papaya salad without writing on the floor.
