Why didn't I plant it?
I may not be in Tennessee, but I still love me a good volunteer. After the Malabar Vining Spinach made my "Top 3 Garden Plants of all Time" list, I had trouble germinating it and ended up with only two seedlings, much to my despair. Then, before I even had the opportunity to plant them, the soiled erupted in the raised bed where I grew them last year.
Suddenly, even my need to plant them disappeared and we'll be overwhelmed with an amazing harvest all summer long, without even planting them! How cool is that? So why is Malabar Spinach the best garden plant that I did not plant this year? Because I didn't have to! Check it out!

Vining spinach. I need to try some of that.
Noodle beans too. Those look awesome.
I planted 3 this year for the first time. Growing slowly thou.

Great post and video! I could barely keep up with my spinach this year, but I'm going to have to try this vine for next year. Will the growth become thick enough to cover the entire archway trellis you have there?

Thanks, and STEEM ON! Looking forward to checking out your other posts!
I am awaiting seeds of this plant after seeing your success I ordered some online - can’t wait to pop them in. Is germination rate low though - I only bought 20 seeds - usually spinach seeds have more to the pack and I feel like they need careful nurturing starting them in pots which I also wouldn’t normally do with spinach
Ha! Can't stop Mother Nature brother! Nice!
